Driving through Neve Tzedek
The first quarter built outside Jaffa, now the tightest and most expensive small market in Tel Aviv. Narrow streets, restored houses, almost no parking, and very little that ever comes up for sale.
What a Neve Tzedek drive actually shows you
Neve Tzedek is photographed more than almost any quarter in Israel and driven less, which is a problem, because the thing a camera at head height flatters and a car does not is how narrow these streets actually are.
The drive shows the lanes at their real width, the parking as it genuinely is, and the towers on the edge of the quarter that a great many photographs are carefully framed to exclude.

The one thing a drive through Neve Tzedek will not answer
The photographs are all taken from the same few angles, and they leave out two things: the towers at the edges of the quarter, and the fact that you will probably not be able to park near your own front door. Neither is a reason not to buy here. Both are reasons to see it from a car and at eight in the evening before you do.
The other constraint is supply. Very little comes to market in a quarter this small, and what does moves fast and locally. If this is genuinely your target, arrange finance and legal representation in advance — a remote buyer reacting to a portal listing here is already too late.

Scarcity and character. It is the first quarter built outside Jaffa, small, heavily restored, and very little of it changes hands in any given year.
Is parking a real problem?
Yes, and it is the most common regret among buyers here. The streets are narrow and residents' parking is limited. We film it in the evening for that reason.
Are the streets really that narrow?
Narrower than the photographs suggest. Most images are taken on foot; the drive shows them at the width you will actually navigate.
Is there much to buy?
Rarely. This is among the tightest small markets in the country, and properties move quickly and often locally.
Is there an official average price?
Not at neighbourhood level, and with volumes this low an average would mean little. We work from recorded transactions.
Is it quiet?
In the lanes, largely — but the quarter draws steady visitor traffic around Shabazi and Suzanne Dellal, which is filmed at its busiest hour rather than described.
