What an Akko drive actually shows you
Akko is two places: a walled historic old city that is largely a heritage and tourism environment, and a modern residential city behind it with ordinary stock at some of the lowest coastal prices in the country.
Buyers abroad see photographs of the first and would almost always be buying in the second. The drive runs both and keeps them clearly separate.
The old city
The walled Crusader and Ottoman core — heritage-listed, tourism-facing, and with very little ordinary residential stock.
The new city

The one thing a drive through Akko will not answer
Property inside the walls is not an ordinary purchase. The old city is heritage-listed, much of the housing carries protected tenancies, shared arrangements or public-body involvement, and what may be done to a building is heavily constrained. Anyone contemplating that needs a lawyer who works specifically in this environment, before offering rather than after.
Outside the walls the questions are simpler but the variation is wide. Prices are low across the modern city and the difference between one neighbourhood and another is substantial. This is not a market to buy on a headline price and a photograph; the street matters, and it is worth seeing before you commit.
