The one thing a drive through the Krayot will not answer
Treating the Krayot as one market is the most common mistake made about this area, and it will cost you money in both directions — overpaying in one town on comparables from another, or dismissing a town on a price that belongs to its neighbour. Establish which of the four a property is actually in, every time.
Renewal is the second question, and the usual discipline applies: establish the stage with documents, buy the building as it stands, and treat any scheme as upside. There is a great deal of talk about renewal in this area and a considerably smaller amount of it under way.
